YOUTH
Vision
At Northwest Community Church, our Youth Ministry is all about presenting Jesus in an enthusiastic, exciting, and fun way. We create a safe and welcoming space where middle and high school students can explore their faith, connect with friends and mentors, and discover what it looks like to follow Jesus together.
Sunday Morning Small Groups
Every Sunday morning (except the 2nd Sunday of the month), our middle school and high school youth break off into small groups during the teaching portion of the service. This gives them a chance to dive deeper into the lesson, ask questions, and connect with other youth in a smaller setting.
The rest of the service is spent worshiping together as a church family, so youth still experience the full service while also having age-appropriate small group time to grow in their faith.
Weekly Youth Group
Our Weekly Youth Groups are a place for middle school and high school youth to belong, have fun, and grow in their faith. Middle schoolers meet Sundays from 6:00–7:30 PM, and high schoolers meet from 8:00–9:00 PM. Each night includes dinner, group games, and small group time where youth build friendships, ask real questions, and learn how faith connects to everyday life.
We create a safe, welcoming environment where kids are known, encouraged, and challenged to follow Jesus. Friends are always welcome, and no matter where your youth is in their faith journey, there’s a place for them here.
HS Galveston Urban Ministries Mission Trip
We’re thrilled to announce that our 2nd annual Galveston Urban Ministries (GUM) Mission Trip is back! From February 13–15, our high school youth will head to Galveston to serve the community, learn more about God’s love, and grow together as a team.
This is an incredible opportunity for youth to step outside their normal routines, build friendships, and see God at work in a new part of Texas.
We’d love for all of our high school youth to join, but spots are limited to 15, so sign up today to secure your place!
2026 High School Summer Camp
NW Youth x Noah’s Ark
July 6–12, 2026 | Incoming 9th–Completed 12th Graders
We’re thrilled to head back to Colorado for our 3rd High School Summer Camp at Noah’s Ark! This week is all about unplugging, building friendships, and experiencing God in a whole new way.
Camp activities include whitewater rafting, rock climbing, exploring hot springs, and a three-day backpacking adventure. It’s going to be an unforgettable week!
