THOM FULMER — PASTOR
I’m grateful to serve as pastor of Northwest Community Church. Celia and I have been married for many years, and our children are grown, though we treasure every opportunity to be together as a family.
My passion is helping people discover how deeply God loves them. Jesus did not come to condemn, but to offer a full, abundant, and joyful life. I want people to know they can trust Him with their lives — and with the lives of those they love most. If you’ve never experienced God in this way, I’d love to connect and talk with you.
Jake Pluenneke — YOUTH Pastor
I am honored to serve as the Youth Pastor at Northwest Community Church. I was born and raised in the Texas Hill Country, and for the past eight years, I have called Austin home. I attended the University of Texas and have been living here ever since.
Recently, I embarked on a new chapter in my life by marrying my wonderful wife, Gracie, in 2024. We are thrilled to have moved into the Northwest Hills neighborhood and look forward to becoming an active part of this community.
For the past seven years, I have been dedicated to youth ministry, driven by my love for God and others. My passion lies in supporting and caring for families while nurturing authentic faith in middle school and high school students all while having fun!

whitney wiseman — Associate Pastor
I’m grateful and excited to serve as Associate Pastor at Northwest Community Church. Our family of four is deeply passionate about Northwest’s mission to love God, love one another, and be the church in our community.
Each of us is on a unique spiritual journey, and I love walking alongside people as they take hold of the hope of Jesus, discern their next step with God, and grow in a vibrant, everyday faith. Life is simply better when we navigate it together—so let’s grab coffee, share a meal, or take a walk around Town Lake and connect.
JESSICA HARMON — CHILDREN’S PASTOR
I am honored to serve as the children's pastor of Northwest Community Church! I have felt so loved by our church community over the years, so I'm excited to help our kids and families feel that same support and care.
I am constantly amazed by our tiny humans and everything they represent about Jesus's heart. My prayer for our ministry is that our kids and families have a special place in our church that they feel moved to invite others into.

Jay Lea — worship leader
My wife, Abby, and I, along with our two kids, Madyson and Cooper, have been involved at Northwest Community Church for many years. In 2022, I formally joined the staff as Worship Leader. I love music and have loved leading our community in corporate worship on Sunday mornings. Working with our teams is one of my greatest privileges, and I am always looking for others who are passionate about serving the Church with their gifts. If you’re interested, let me know!
Melissa — business manager
My husband and I, along with our two adult kids, have been part of Northwest Community Church since its very beginning. It has been an incredible journey to watch our church grow and thrive, and I am thrilled to join the team as the Business Manager. My primary role will be to Scott with all things related to the building and facilities, as well as finances, technology, and HR.
